These Eyes of Mines

FRAMES:

 
We sell one-of-a-kind frames made by some of the world’s best designers and our inventory is constantly changing.   Therefore, upon a visit to our website or boutique, we strongly suggest that you purchase your frame(s) of choice as they may not be available on a subsequent visit.

We do not hold frames in the boutique and for a very limited time in the website cart.  Frames must be paid for in full before your prescription is installed.

Purchased frames can be returned for exchange or credit only within a five (5) day period after receipt, provided lenses have not been installed. Because we are a small business specializing in unique and one-of-a-kind frames, we can only offer an exchange or credit should you decided to return your frames.  Once lenses are added, we cannot exchange or offer a credit.

We do not provide eye exams but can refer you to an optometrist whom we highly recommend.  Dr. LaMia Jones of Novi Eye Associates is located at 2441 Market Street, NE, Washington, DC 20018 (inside Costco).  Her contact information is, ofc (202) 269-8556 and fax (202) 269-8557 and her website is www.novieyes.com.  Please call for an appointment.  If you already have your prescription, please bring it with you.  Prescriptions cannot be more than two years old.  You can also email or fax your prescriptions to June at fax no. (202) 808-8626.
 
All of our frames have warranties.  Under certain conditions, damaged or broken frames can be returned to our manufacturers for replacement so, inspect them immediately upon receipt.  The same applies to lenses that, in rare instances, have been incorrectly added to your frames.  Such costs will not be passed on to you.


APPOINTMENTS:


We are open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, Friday by appointment only and, Saturday from 10-4 pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.

We advise all potential clients to schedule appointments for all visits to our boutique.

Time is valuable so if you’re running late, please give us a courtesy call prior to your scheduled appointment at (202) 269-0624. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us a 24 hour notice. We will contact you prior your appointment to confirm.


MAILINGS:


For those having glasses mailed, we use USPS Priority Mail 2-Day Service.  If you prefer to use either UPS or Fed Ex, please let us know.  We can accommodate you for an additional fee. The USPS 2-day priority mail packages are only insured for $50.00.  If you want more insurance, there will be an additional fee and you will need to inform us prior to the mail out date.  A signature request can also be arranged for no additional fee.  We ask that you carefully weigh the pros and cons of both, as we cannot accept the responsibility for any loss or stolen glasses.  

If for any reason your frames are damaged when you receive them, call us immediately and we’ll provide instructions on how to return your frames.


LAB:


All frames are sent to an outside lab as soon as we receive your payment and prescription.  Please allow 5-7 business days for the completion of work.

We will contact you as soon as your glasses are returned at which time you must clear any outstanding balances before glasses are mailed.

All glasses are inspected at the lab before they are returned.  However, should questions or concerns arise, we will notify you as soon as possible.



PAYMENTS:


We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks.

While we do not accept insurance, we honor Flex Pay.  Please advise us if you are using Flex Pay so that we can promptly email your receipt.
